Meet our fantastic staff members
Our amazing team members make a difference!
All our staff are paediatric first aid trained and level 2 in food safety and hygenie.
We also have makaton trained staff.
Amanda Blake
Manager, Deputy Safeguarding Lead and Behaviour Officer
Amanda started at Marshfield Pre-school in 2009 as a trainee practitioner, after becoming qualified she continued with her qualifications and completed her level 4 in early years. Amanda has also gained her Level 3 certificate in Leading Forest School.
Amanda worked hard and became the session manager with overall running of the pre-school room working alongside the office manager Molly.
Forest schools and positive behaviour development is the area Amanda leads on with supporting children in their own personal development, forest schools is an area that she feels really supports the children’s confidence.
Amanda leads on planning supporting all staff with the children’s development and the interaction with the primary schools for the children that are graduating each year.
Amanda runs the personal development and appraisals of all the staff making sure that they are always expanding their knowledge and staying current with the early years development of young children.
In her spare time Amanda likes to socialise with her friends and spend quality time with her daughter.
Stacey Millard
Deputy manager, Senco and safeguarding officer
Stacey joined the team in 2013 bringing lots of knowledge of the EYFS.
Stacey spends time watching the children grow and develop in their own individual ways.
Stacey’s passion for detail is very clear in making sure that all children’s needs are met. Safeguarding and Senco areas need lots of consideration with children’s development so with Stacey’s experience she will make sure the children and the families are supported and the children have all the intervention required for them along their journey through preschool.
Stacey became a language champion in August 2023.
Stacey has also gained her SENCO level 3 qualification in July 2024.
In her spare time she enjoys playing darts, watching darts and exploring the UK.
Brenda McAndrew
Lead Practitioner
Brenda became a qualified early years practitioner in 1997 and has a very extended wealth of knowledge in children’s development. Brenda has a very kind and caring manner towards the children which helps the little ones settle in their early days of starting with us.
Focus learning is an area that Brenda interacts well with each individual child; this really does support the children’s confidence.
Communication is key for Brenda. She will always be wanting to give feedback to the families on how well their child is doing and she enjoys celebrating their achievements.
Family life is key for Brenda; she spends her spare time enjoying family walks with her grandchildren.
Emily Cousins
Qualified Practitioner
Emily has re joined in November 2025 as a qualified practitioner and brings with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and new ideas.
Georgia Ewing
Qualified Practitioner
Georgia started with us in January 2020. We are lucky to have a new energetic member to the team, she really excels in outdoor play, teaching the children new ball skills and encouraging their physical development skills. Georgia started with us as an apprentice and has since gained her Level 3 qualification as an Early Years Educator.
Georgia shows a real flair for interacting with the children in their maths skills, supporting them with space, shapes and measure, bringing this into the children’s outdoor play.
Georgia loves spending time with her friends and going out and enjoying her social life.
Molly Taylor
Admin
Molly joined the Pre-school team in October 2024. She sorts out all the funding and finance. Please speak to Molly if you have a question regarding your funded hours.
Molly previously was in charge of administration, finance and lettings.
She brings a wealth of administration knowledge to the team.
Megan Patch
Qualified Practitioner
Meg first joined the team as our cleaner. She then became a play assistant in July 2014.
She went on to become Level 3 qualified in October 2015.
She enjoys running our tea club with the children from primary school giving them fun and exciting activities to do after school.
During Meg’s time at Pre-school she has added two more babies to the family. Meg loves spending time with her family and enjoying family holidays to Florida.
Lydia Ould
Qualified Practitioner
Lydia started at Marshfield Pre-school when she attended as a pre-school child!
Lydia is now a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner after completing her apprenticeship in October ’24.
She enjoys travelling to Wales with the family to see her extended family.
Abigail Billett
Qualified Practioner
Abigail joined the team in September 2024.
Abigail joined us from another setting. She brings creativity to the team.
In her spare time she enjoys shooting and rugby.
Gabbi Martin
Level 2 practitioner
Gabbi joined the team in March 2024.
Gabbi changed her career from being a bar manager.
In her spare time she enjoys to do crotchet and spend time with her partner and son.
Tanya Bellis
Level 2 Practitioner
Tanya joined the team in August 2024.
Tanya also had a change of career as she used to be a cleaner.
Tanya has also been a sea cadet.
In her spare time she enjoys helping out on the farm that she lives on with her partner.
