Keyworkers and Early Years Foundation

Keyworkers

Each child is allocated a Keyworker; a staff member who will be their main point of contact and provide reassurance and support, helping them to feel secure in the pre-school environment.

Keyworkers also create their keychild’s Learning Journal, a record of their progress and development, which will be regularly shared with parents.

The journal is continually updated as the staff undertake regular observations of each child in order to ensure an appropriate ‘next step’ is identified to support the child’s continued learning and development.

Early Years Foundation

As an Ofsted registered provider, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS is a statutory framework which sets a comprehensive range of standards for settings providing child care and education to children from birth to five years old.

As we follow the EYFS, you can be confident that we set the highest standards in the quality of our service.  So, whilst your child is having fun and making friends we will also be ensuring that they receive an experience which supports every aspect of their learning and development.
